Here are a few CD's I've been listening to lately that I would rate very highly...
Neko
Case- "Blacklisted" and "Furnace Room Lullaby"
Neko Case is just bursting with talent, and also cute as hell.
The
New Pornographers- "Mass Romantic"
Neko's "side project", this Vancouver based indie-pop group crafts
extremely catchy and fun spirited songs. This is their debut CD, and has just
been followed up by "Electric Version."
Grandaddy-
"Sumday"
A dreamy
masterpiece, it's a record to lay down and think about your life to.
Old
97's- "Wreck Your Life"
One
of several must-haves from these Texas alt-country masters, it's the follow-up
to the landmark "Hitchhike To Rhome."
Deathcab
For Cutie- "You Can Play These Songs With Chords"
Nearby
Bellingham's well respected favorites, this is an album of mostly B-sides that
is better than an album of mostly B-sides should be.
Radiohead-
Hail To The Thief
This
one is a grower- I like it more with each successive listen.
